Attendance

Regular and punctual attendance is an essential prerequisite to effective learning. At Mills Hill Primary School, we aim to develop an ethos which demonstrates to children, parents/carers and the wider community how much we value good attendance and punctuality to support every child to learn to the best of their ability and achieve to the highest standard.

Reporting your child absent

All unexpected absences from school should be reported through ‘StudyBugs’. This will be used to report your child’s absence from school and for any communications regarding their absences. The system is very easy to use and means that you don’t need to call and leave a message on the school absence line, you can simply send a message via Studybugs. The system also provides up to date NHS guidance on illnesses. You can download the free Studybugs app from your app store or log in via the Studybug website.
